TOWAMENCIN – The Environmental Action Club (ENACT) of North Penn was sought to correct the wrongdoings our society brought upon the environment. The major goal of the group was to improve the world for future generations, and teach others how to respect their environment.

To accomplish their goals, the club helped with the 5th grade camping trips, offering their environmental skills, and teaching children how to respect their environment. Members also helped beautify nature centers by attending various cleanups. One of the traditions of the ENACT club was an annual seedling tree sale. The fundraiser brought in funds for the club, but it ultimately helped make the world an even better place.

Not only did the club to help the environment, but it also gave members the opportunity to make new friends and have new lifetime experiences. Members improved the environment and the lives of future generations, and at the same time made lifelong friends.

Today, the ENACT club is still a part of North Penn, and are still accepting members. The club actively participates in weekly clean ups and other beneficial activities for the environment. Current ENACT advisor, Mr. Nate Snyder, encourages everyone to join because “we go on trips to plant trees and do routinely school ground cleanup a and have many more things to do coming up this year.”
