Molly Ostrowski-SGA Recording Secretary Candidate

Why are you running for Recording Secretary?

I am running to be Recording Secretary, because I believe I have the qualities it takes to be a successful leader who will write down and gather information to be passed on to the student body.

What qualities do you possess that make you the best candidate?

I believe that my peers should vote for me because I have experience. I was secretary of student council in 9th grade at Pennbrook Middle School. From this experience, I have learned how to be efficient in note taking and having a good eye for detail. Also, I will strive to make sure North Penn students are informed of how to stay involved and show North Penn spirit.

What is your favorite aspect of North Penn HS?

The amount of students who participate in spirit days.

If you could improve one thing about North Penn HS, what would it be and why?

One thing I would like to improve about North Penn is to encourage more students to attend events at the high school. I will help to improve through advertising on my personal and SGA’s social media accounts. I will also be sure to put up flyers and posters around the school that provide information on the event.

What have you learned about yourself during our shutdown?

Although times are rough, I have learned the importance of staying positive. With the days being longer, I have also learned the importance of managing my time and staying busy.

How would you describe your style of leadership?

As a leader, I am always open to new ideas brought to me by my peers. I will also be a team player and work with the other officers to serve the students. I will continue to participate in school spirit days and attend different school events to show the student body the qualities of a true North Penn leader.
