My name is Courtney McVay and this is my promposal to my boyfriend Alex Mayer. He graduated last year from Souderton High School and he asked me last year so I decided to switch it up. We’ve been together for almost two years and I wanted to make this promposal to be different from
anything else. In photography class we were assigned a project on
creating stop motion videos out of pictures. I started researching ideas
for the project and then I got the idea to composite this school
project into my promposal. I decided to create the video through stop
motion of other typical promposals. The video starts as a car crash
scene because he loves cars and I wanted to capture his attention and
make it seem like just a project. After that it’s hard to read but I had
the cars spell out ALEX, his name. I went on by using all of the other
ideas and ended it with pictures of us. I used the song “if I’m James
dean then you’re Audrey Hepburn” acoustic by sleeping with sirens.
because I love singing this song to him and I guess you could say it’s
our song. Anyways it was such a fun project and not only did it get me a
prom date but also an A in class. If you must know we were both teary
eyed as I showed it to him. I love him to death and I can’t wait for
this awesome night. I also wanna credit Lauren Hankey for helping me
with the whole project.
